How long am I tied in to my lease?

We negotiate leases on a case by case basis, so we can agree a lease duration that meets the needs of your organisation. Typically our leases run for between 3 and 20 years.

What is included in my rent?

We provide both inclusive and exclusive leases. Our inclusive leases include business rates, heating, electricity, cleaning, security, 24 hour access, use of a free meeting room, postal collection and delivery, buildings insurance, landscape maintenance and an on-site management and maintenance team.

Our exclusive leases consist of rent and service charge payments and include security, 24 hour access, use of a free meeting room, postal collection and delivery, landscape maintenance and an on-site management and maintenance team. It does not include business rates, heating, electricity, cleaning or insurance.

 Do I have to pay a deposit?

We usually ask for a deposit. This will be negotiated as part of your lease.

What do I have to pay for in addition to my rent?

Optional extras include a high speed internet connection, telephones and our postal franking service. Contents insurance is also your responsibility.

Do I have designated car parking spaces?

Your lease will detail any designated parking spaces. However, there are ample car parking spaces available on the site. See the Bretby Business Park Site Plan in the About Us section for their location.

Is the security full time?

Yes. There are two security guards here 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. During the night, our security guards patrol regularly. We also have a network of colour digital CCTV cameras, with footage recorded to hard drive for your peace of mind.

When can I access my office?

Whenever you like! Access is 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. So if you would like to catch up on your emails at 5am Christmas Day, you are more than welcome.

How fast and reliable is the onsite broadband?

We have a high speed 150mb dedicated fibre optic line to the business park with a back up  line which will kick in if the main line goes down. This provides us with minimal avoidable down time which enables your business to keep working.

There are a wide range of packages available tailored to organisations in all our units at Bretby Business Park. We can install, supply hardware and resolve any issues you may have with our contractors assistance.

How do I get my post?

The post is delivered to the Security Gatehouse, where it is sorted and delivered to each of the tenants on the Business Park at around 09:30 – 10:00. We then collect outgoing post from your office at around 3:00 – 3:30. You can either use your own stamps or franking machine, or for a small handling fee we can frank outgoing post for you for and invoice you at the end of the month.

Where can I buy lunch?

There is a café on Site, Bretby Café, situated in the middle of the business park and there are also two pubs within walking distance from the business park.

I want to have a meeting but not in my office. Where can I go?

There is a free meeting room in Repton House which is available to all occupiers, this may be booked by the hour or the day by calling the Management Team in the Estates Office on 01283 553 200.

I may need some local hotel accommodation. What are the options?

There are a number of venues within a short distance of the business park to suit all budgets.
